About us.

Breakin' point was founded by a 15 year old called Sarah Curtis. She has been dancing for nearly 12 years! When she started this company up, she has done many exams, shows and competitions. She has danced with TAPA, Streetlife, and now Streetvibes. Being funded by the "Think big scheme"
with £300 has made a remarkable improvement to the plan of going towards a summer workshop. She has offically linked onto another dance company which has similar aims to Breakin' Point and that is Streetlife.
This project could benefit many people in many ways: Learning new skills
and improving other skills, teamwork, help students, work they doing at school, or getting over their fears of performing and ect, bring the community together, students will be able to make new friends and improving their confidence around people and on the stage. This project will not
just benefit a few people this project if it does happen could benefit over 100,000 kids of all ages. The main target Sarah is hoping to achieve is to get these kids of the streets and get them into something enjoyable, fun anat the same time it keep them healthy and teach them something
new which they may never had a chance to learn with these skills or improve these skills before. Also, it gives thema chance to express their opinions/emotions and to show
their creativity, as well as play a positive role in their local community and in society and help to shake off the negative perception of young people and get the population
talking about their enthusiasm and talent instead.
